October Madness

October has come and gone, now November is here, only 8 more weeks, to make it to the New Year!... So October was a busy month with soccer and flag football games. Overall Kaleb has improved on his soccer skills and learned some technical terms for football plays.
We had our first Parent/Teacher conference of the year and learned that Kaleb is progressing well with a bigger class and more homework. He earned 5 A's and 1 B on his report card and also got a certificate for perfect attendance!
Papa came for his bi-monthly visit and we had a chance to go to Six Flags theme park in Valencia, California. Kaleb got to ride some roller coasters and had the bageezus scared out of him on the X2 ride!!! Papa, Brett and Kaleb all challeneged each other to the rock wall and Papa was the first one to make it to the top! Everyone earned a cape for effort and all the boys were sore after that!

Halloween was entertaining with Brett and Paisley Roo dressed up as Robin, Kaleb as Batman, Papa as The Joker and Kat was Harley Quinn. Jackie and Maddie came over to help us hand out candy and go trick or treating. Maddie was Pocahontas and Jackie was a Cowgirl!

In November we hope to have our yard sale and clear out the mess that is in the garage! Jenel will be visiting us for Thanksgiving all the way from Las Vegas. We get to make our turkey in a roaster oven this year, so wish us luck that it turns out nice!! That is all for now on updates from Planet Russ Family, have a good November!
